This is a digital secret santa. The gifts are limited to digital IDV fanworks only. IDV OCs are not allowed.
Respect every participant and moderator. Any sort of harassment will be blocked and/or kicked out of the event.
Both traditional and digital art are accepted, but please try to take a clear picture if you're doing traditional art

We cannot change your prompt after it has been sent out.
Keep your giftee a secret and refrain from posting any WIP publicly.
Notify us if you change your @ handle during the event period!

What is a summer bash?
This event works the same way as a normal secret santa, but it is hosted during the summer.
If you are unfamiliar with secret santa, it is an event where participant anonymously create a present for their giftee and receive one from another in return.
Ex: person A create a gift for person B, person B for person C, C for D and so on.
What does the "Send us a link of your past work:" in the form mean?
It is there for quality check and preventing trolls applications. While we do try to accept all kind of levels and skills, we will reject your application if you have low quality works.
Does the prompt have to be summer-related?
Nope! But it must be related to Identity V
What kind of gift is allowed?
Either art or writing requested from your giftee.
-For art, it can be an illustration, comic, or even animation. You can be creative and use any media, canvas sizes, or formats you want. We don't require your gift to be fully colored with background, but it must be more than a sketch.
-For fanfictions, it must be over 500 words and must be taken seriously (no crack fics unless your prompt specifically requests it)
You can submit multiple pieces if you wish to do that.

Is it required to follow the prompt from my giftee closely?
It is not necessary, the prompt is only a guideline. You can have fun and be creative with your prompt!
When should we post our gifts?
Any time during the Gifting Period, which is July 19th to August 1st.
How should I submit my gift?
Post your gift on your twitter account with @idvsummerbash and #idvsummerbash20 in your description. And tag your giftee in the reply to help avoid spamming their notifications.
(or, you can tag both our account and your giftee in the reply for a neater look)
Fanfics can be uploaded on any site as long as it is visible. But it must be linked back on twitter.
If you have a private account, you can ask to have your gift posted on our account instead.
What time zones are the mods using?
We use Eastern Time (UTC -5)
Is it required to join the discord server?
Not at all. But it is recommended since you can interact with other participants and receive notifications for the due dates.
